Countryside Christian School’s mission is to help Christian parents fulfill their God-given responsibility of teaching their children. We will try to lead every student and parent to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We will teach the Bible, which we believe is the inspired Word of God, to every student. We will help every student learn to respect authority and to develop character and self control.
1. We believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Bible, equally in all parts and without error in the original manuscripts in Hebrew and Greek. (II Peter 1:20-21)
2. We believe there is the One True and Living God who is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. His name is Jehovah, and He exists eternally in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
3. We believe in the pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to Heaven, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15:1-4)
4. We believe in the fall of man, the need of regeneration by the operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of grace alone, and the resurrection of all to life or damnation. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9-10) (Ephesians 2:8-9) (I Corinthians 15:12-28)
5. We believe in the spiritual relationship of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, living a life of righteous works separated from the world, witnessing of His saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. (I John 2:15-17, Acts 1:8)
6. We believe in the New Birth and baptism of the Holy Spirit at the time of the New Birth with the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:1-6; I Corinthians 12: 1-11)
