COUNTRYSIDE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL BOARD
2008-2009

The following men have been appointed to serve on the new Countryside Christian School Board. These men will serve for a period of one year.
1. Don Boals. Don is Deacon, a Gideon, and a faithful member of our church. His children attended or school.
2. Robbie Robertson. Robbie is a Deacon, a Gideon, and a faithful member of our church. His children attended our school and two of them now teach in our school.
3. Jim Keith. Jim is a Deacon, a Gideon, a faithful member of our church, the Facilities Manager, and both of his children attended our school. His daughter now works in our school.
4. Pat Robbins. Pat is a faithful member of our church, a coach, a graduate of our school, his daughter attends our school, his father was a deacon in our church and his mother has served faithfully as our Minister of Records. He was also ordained a deacon in 2010.
5. Stevie Keith. Stevie is a faithful member of our church, a graduate of our school, his children attended our school, and his daughter teaches in Creekside Christian School.
6. Troy Blakley. Troy is a Trustee, a faithful member of our church, a Sunday School teacher, works with CEF, and his children attended our school.
7. David Keith. David is a graduate of our school, a Gideon, a faithful member of our church, and the Principal of our school. Both of his children attended our school.
8. Vince Taylor. Vince is a father, a coach, a faithful member of our church, and all of his children attended our school.
9. Jody Robertson. Jody is a graduate of CCS, a deacon of our church, serves as our High School Supervisor, Assistant Principal, coach, and has a Masters degree in education. He has taught in the public school system for seven years before coming to Countryside. His children attend our school.
10. Bob Hutcheson. Bob is a faithful member of our church and the Director of hospital visitation ministry. Both of his children attended our school.
11. Steve Carlson. Steve is a faithful member of our church and the Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship in North Florida. His granddaughter attends our school.
12. Greg Robbins. Greg is a faithful member of our church, a Gideon, the parent of present and former students, and his wife has taught in our school for several years.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. The men chosen to serve on our School Board must be faithful members of the church. This includes being faithful to all of the services of our church (Sunday School, Morning worship and preaching, and Wednesday night).
2. The men who serve on our School Board must believe in and practice tithing.
3. They must strongly believe in Christian Education and support our schools with their minds, their hearts, their time, and their finances.
4. They must have graduated from the Countryside Christian School or have had children who have attended our school.
5. They must be loyal to the pastor.
6. They must endorse the Statement of Faith of our church.
7. They must support our schools financially and lead the church by their good example to do the same. This especially applies to our building program.
8. If any member of the School Board ever reaches the place where they cannot fulfill these eight qualifications, they must be willing to quietly resign their position on the School Board rather than cause discord or division in the church.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Their first priority is to do make sure that our Christian Education remains a top priority in our church. They must do everything in their power to help our Christian Schools survive, grow, and prosper.
2. The School Board is appointed to provide wise advice and give spiritual counsel to the Pastor, the school Principal, and the school staff in matters related to our Christian Schools.
3. The School Board will help formulate school policies, rules, and regulations for all phases of school activities.
4. The School Board will assist the Pastor, the Principal, and the Minister of Finance in preparing the budgets for the schools each year.
5. The School Board will serve as the mediator in any disputes that may arise between staff and staff and/or staff and parents.
6. The School Board will give wise counsel to the School Principal and make final decisions in controversial matters of school discipline.
7. The School Board will serve as the mediator and make final decisions and or special arrangements with parents who are delinquent in their tuition payments.
